Yesterday, Delhi’s Environment Minister, Gopal Rai, declared that the odd-even rule will kick in from November 13 to November 20. He also mentioned that schools for all grades, except 10th and 12th, will stay closed until November 10 due to the worsening air quality.
“Delhi’s Environment Minister, Gopal Rai, shared on Monday that due to the deteriorating air quality, the odd-even car rationing plan will be in effect from November 13 to November 20.
Additionally, he announced that all schools, except for those in the 10th and 12th grades, will be closed until November 10. Originally, students from grades 6 to 12 were given the choice to attend classes online, while primary classes were instructed to remain closed until November 10.”
Due to the deteriorating air quality in Delhi, a new measure has been put in place. All non-essential construction and demolition work within the city limits has been temporarily halted. Additionally, the entry of light commercial vehicles and diesel trucks has been restricted in the national capital.
