Nitin Jairam Gadkari, the stalwart of Indian politics, is set to embark on yet another electoral journey as he contests the Lok Sabha elections representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Known for his unwavering dedication, Gadkari has been a key figure in the Narendra Modi government, assuming the mantle of Road Minister in 2014 and overseeing critical portfolios including Shipping, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, and Water Resources.

Presently, he continues to serve as a Member of Parliament from Nagpur, reflecting his strong connection with the constituency. Amidst the political landscape, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s call for Gadkari to consider his party’s support, should he feel ‘insulted’, adds an intriguing dimension to the unfolding electoral narrative in Maharashtra.
