Great news for aspiring bankers! The State Bank of India has just revealed the results for the preliminary round of Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment, and you can check how you did on their official website, sbi.co.in. If you took the online prelims in November, this is your moment!
For those who passed the prelims, get ready for the main examination on December 5. Keep an eye out for your call letters—they’re on the way. The results for the mains are expected to drop in December or January.
The journey doesn’t end there. After the mains, there’s a Psychometric test in January or February, depending on your mains results. Interviews and Group Exercises are also in the pipeline for January or February.
Curious about the final results? Mark your calendars for February or March next year.
Here’s a quick guide on how to check your PO Prelims Result:

- Log in and discover your result.
- The screen will light up with your result—download and save the PDF for later.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 2,000 PO vacancies, and the process kicked off in September, closing on September 27. If the website seems a bit crowded, don’t worry; just give it a moment and try again. SBI recently announced Clerk recruitments too, adding more opportunities for banking enthusiasts.
